RECIPE FOR BODY BUTTER.
Hey guys, been a while like have been really busy, but today I made out time Hurray!!! Today I will be sharing the recipe to make your own body butter.
What is body butter? It is a combination of Shea butter and cocoa butter mixed with two different oils,but if you don't get cocoa butter you can go ahead with just Shea butter. You have to continuousmy whip to have a smooth mixture without it looking oily.
The benefits.
The butter butter is great for babies because of their sensitive skin. It is also good because it nourishes the skin. It also gives your skin this glowing look and makes it look hydrated and not dried.
INGREDIENTS.
1/2 cup of Shea butter.
1/2 cup of cocoa butter.
1/2 cup of coconut oil.
1/2 cup of light oils ( almond or Olive oil).
1/2 cup of lavender oil.
DIRECTIONS.
1) In a glass bowl combine all the ingredients except the lavender oil.
2) Bring to medium heat and stir till the ingredients melt.
3) Remove from heat and let it cool then add the lavender oil.
4) Use a hand mixer or whisk to whip till it becomes fluffy.
5) Put in the fridge for 10- 15 minutes to set.
6) Store in a jar with a lid and use as your regular lotion/body butter, you may have to put in your fridge so it can remain in its solid form.
