How long you should use your make up
I am also guilty of using my make up for a long time, that I get amazed when I decide to clean my make up and see something's I still have, so it's not new but we definitely need to know how long we should use them. The factor that determines the period you can use your make up depends on your make up type.
Eyeshadow: Liquid eyeshadow should last for 12 months and the powder ones for up to 2 years, provided the applicator is well taken Care of.
Eye pencils: Eye pencils should be kept for 2 years provided your using a clean tip, always sharpen it before applying.
Lipstick: you can keep your lipstick for up to two years.
Mascara: Mascara has the shortest life span because of the risk of transferring bacteria back and forth from the eyes to the mascara tube. So ensure to toss away your mascara after 3 months.
Blushes and powders: Relieve your cream blushes after a year and your powder after a year.
Foundations and concealers: Stick foundations and moisturing foundations can be used for 18 months while an oil free foundation should be discarded after 12 months.
