Alot of people think they have big stomachs including me, i feel that way sometimes but most times it's just bloating of the stomach and is caused by some of the things we do. Today i will be sharing some useful tips to prevent bloating of the stomach.
1) Dont eat too fast.
Eating quickly and not chewing your food well can cause air swallowing that leads to bloating. So slow down the way you chew and enjoy your meal. Digestion also begins from the mouth so if you chew your food well it really helps and sometimes when you take your time to eat, the food becomes more satisfying.
2) Dont over do carbonated drinks.
Some people can't take a meal without taking a drink and Its not like am saying it's bad but the type of drink you take matters, if it's a fruit drink its definitely cool but if it's a carbonated drink then you have something to worry about. The fizz in carbonated drinks makes gas to get trapped in the stomach.
3) Dont overdo chew gum.
I am guilty of this one, I can't go through a boring class without a gum to help me stay awake but the bad thing is it also causes bloating.
4) Take sugar free food.
Many people suffer from bloating because they take high sugar foods and drinks and it definitely leads to bloating.
5) Limit sodium.
High processed food tends to have high sodium content and it can't lead to bloating of the stomach.
