It is also used for soap making, yes lemon oil contains some useful nutrients that helps to fight germs, it is added to organic soaps to add more nutrient and also to increase the frangrance.

How to make lemon oil at home.
1) Get your fresh lemon: Fresh lemons are used because they still have all essencial nutrients present in it and the lemon scent is very strong. So you need some fresh lemons. Wash them very well under running water or a bowl of water.

2) Get a vegetable cutter to cut slivers/peels  off, ensure you remove the bitter white pith of the lemon.

3) In a non stick pot or heating pot, place the lemon peels in and add coconut oil to cover the surface. Turn the heat on a low and shimmer for 5 minutes.

5) Place the oil aside for the oil to the take in the lemon favour.
