Hi guys, your girl is here with a little secret to share with y’all.  I don’t have a perfect skin because I have had my share with acne and it was a tough time. I remember using all sorts of things on my face without any improvement, sometimes I  got burns from harsh products, discolouration and a whole lot. But well today my skin is in a good shape and I’m grateful. Today I want to share the few things I put on my skin, I really hate to put anything on my skin this days, I just leave it alone to take care of itself. But few days in a month, I use these buddies.

When it comes to skincare routine, I am one of the few that can’t keep up , I hardly have time to do a lot but hey your skin is you and your all you got, so yeah I try to do this few times in a month.

1) My Tea tree mask by bodyshop : I am a huge fan of maskes because they just give my face this matte, sweet look and they also tighten my pores. It’s like having your face breath and you can feel the fresh air on your skin. Applying my mask also helps me remove dead skin cells , giving me a fresh, clear face. The last thing I love about my mask is it’s really easy to apply, no stains And no stress when you want to take it off.
I just leave in for few minutes and after it has dried up, I wash off using water and my black soap and that’s it.

2) My body butter : We all know the ish with  body butters, the goodness of using them, it gives your skin a shiny look and that’s just what we want. I prepare mine myself because a girl has the ingredients and she got hands to lol, it’s so easy to even prepare and store.

My Ingredients

£ Shea Butter
£. Coconut oil
£ Vitamin E oil
£Grape-seed oil

I mix them together in a clean bowl and whip the Shea butter till it’s so smooth and soft and it’s ready, I store in a small container with a lid and keep in a cool place, you keep it out of Sunlight and heat.

This is my second skincare buddy and I love it much.

3) Tumeric Mask : I use this on rare occasions like once or twice in two months lol, I don’t use it often because it stains when it touches your cloth and it takes forever to come off that cloth, so annoying. But it’s really effective, tumeric brightens your skin and the result is seen almost immediately.

So yeah these are my three skincare buddies and I thought I should share. Xoxo and if you have any question or anything to add that’s effective too, feel free to say it in the comment session below.

I have  learnt that in life balance is everything, if you miss it somewhere it affects everything, even the things already working out. I cultivated the habit of making my to do list and rather than having the urge to finish everything on it, I treat it as a way to prioritize. For example my incoming orders for my business I slot the days I am to go get them in my calendar just like my work related meetings.

When you care for your work and personal life equally, that balance will come naturally. But a little discipline goes a long way. “Work while you work, play while you play”. Have sometime in the day, even if it’s an hour, where you put your phone and laptop away and do something you really like.    I do this by keeping the work and life aspects of my day in two separate buckets. You need to compartmentalize the issues and situations that pull you in the direction of mixing the buckets. At times, work will take precedence over your personal life and vice Versa, but ideally, everything balances out eventually.

   Tips to balance your work-life
1) I think you have to know yourself, know what makes you feel truly fulfilled. If you’re someone who requires exercise everyday, get some form of exercise on a regular basis. If you’re someone who requires some kind of visual assault, go for a walk in an area you’ve never been before and take it all in. Know what’s important to your self-preservation, and hopefully weave that into your day, week, your year.

2) I want you to also know what compels you to continue to grow. Is it other people? New situations?  Repetitive situations? How can you continue to challenge yourself and grow into someone that you continue to feel is relevant and dynamic?

3) Schedule things on your calendar or your journal, don’t just be the disorganized person, I know it’s hard to keep up but you can do it. Always have everything written out and scheduled, it makes life much easier.

4)Get an hobby, I am among the few percent that when asked “what do you do for fun” I go blank for a second before I eventually start putting things together to say. But we all have something that comes to us naturally, so why not take it all in and do it at your leisure, there is a high tendency you will become good at it and that’s a good thing if you ask me.

5) Love yourself, so hard that you take this bold step to get a life-work balance for your own mental health, if not anything but for yourself.

I am not a motivational speaker at least not yet, but I just thought I should share this useful tips  on how to have a healthy work-life balance. Thank you for  viewing and reading this post, you will be equally appreciated if you drop a comment down below or an addition just  incase  I missed anything. Xoxo

Hey guys, I just want to say thank you for the turn up on the last post, It was really a good one from you guys, thank you.
Today’s post took me a while to figure because I was confused on how to bring everything and put it in one post, but hey I found a way, your girl is smart, lol okay that’s me hyping myself and I guess it’s okay!
Today’s post is about my every day essentials, I call them my essentials because they are important to me, and you can’t catch me without them.

1) My Oud Touch Scent
2) My Zaron Face Powder
3) My Bobbi Brush

MY OUD TOUCH SCENT
Oud touch is a shared/unisex perfume by Franck olivier. The scent was launched in 2014.
Top notes : Orange, Raspberry, Toffee

Heart Notes: Violet, Rose, Jasmine, Patchouli, Olibanum

Base: Amber, Musk, Vanilla

This is a beautiful blend of oud, franckincense, rose and caramel, what a combo, super nice! It comes in different note as mentioned above. The strongest note I know is the oud, frankincense and rose with a hint of caramel.
I really love this scent “Oud touch” because it has this very oud-rose fragrance and it definitely makes you scent like a bag of money...lol , It also stays on for a long time, I mean for days and makes people know you scent, I actually find it pleasant when I walk into a room and my friends know I’m in the room just with the scent of my perfume. How cool!!!

MY ZARON FACE POWDER
According to Zaron: Zaron mattifying powder is specially formulated for the woman of color. It blots out oily shine and easily loosens such that it can have the same effect that loose powder has, giving the matte finishing look you want.

I have had this for a while but it was just lying in my make up box, I took interest in it a day I was in a hurry and it was the first I laid my hands on, so I took it and used it, It actually came out nice. It gave my face this matte finish and stayed on for quite a long time, I was impressed I must say, it’s oil free, it’s comes in a compact form, available in like 11 shadessss oh wow!

I also love the bronze undertone it gives my face after adding my fix spray, really nice . It also helps to mattify your makeup by blotting away unwanted oily shine, contains light weight compounds.  Do I recommend it? Yes! I think it’s a nice product coupled with the fact that it’s a indegenous  brand too.

MY BOBBI BRUSHES
The goat and pony-hair bristles are rounded, tapered, and soft. Why do I like it : This brush packs on the pigment right where it’s needed, then blends it into the skin.

The bristles are soft and I feel very high quality. I use this to apply my powders and also highlighters so effortlessly making me look like I glow from within lol. It’s very affordable well I can’t say now, I  got mine few years back and it was really affordable then. I just love the fact that the brush is really soft and over the years it has maintained that softness, so amazing!

OVERVIEW
These are my everyday essentials and I think these products were all made with love for us and I really love them too. I recommend everyone of them for you just Incase you are not sure of any scent, powder or brush to use. Feel free to drop a comment below if you have any question or addition to make, I will appreciate that and also feel free to share this to your friends and family.        I am a huge fan of good food, I love Good food and I dont hesitate to try them. I really have not been able to go to a chinese restaurant untill recently and it was cool.

IF you have been to a chinese restaurant please indicate in the comment session and tell us about your experience.

I found out about the restaurant from a friend and I was surprised it was close to my place, awnnn how nice! So I quickly searched and made up my mind to check it.

When i got to the place I was surprised, it was really well structured and fine, the environment was really clean and quiet, I was super happy. The place had this sit out for guys to relax over some bottles of drinks.

I went in and the interior was really soft and subtle, I really liked the interior, it was almost like a candle light dinner. The lights were really low and soft.

An attendant then came over and gave us the menu book, to choose from, the dishes were so much and I was confused, after enough thinking, with the help of staff I settled for a meal.

1) STARTER : For my starter, I went for a light snack, I went for the chicken spring roll with pepper sauce... The spring roll was tasty, I just had a probelm with the too many onions in it.

2) MAIN MEAL: The main meal was very hard to settle on, I had too many options.  I settled for the special fried rice with prawn and diced meat.

3) Cocktail drink :  I settled for this cocktail drink, it was nice, we had ice cubes put in  our drink too. I had 2 glasses because it was tasty.

I really had a nice time in the chinese restaurant, it was quiet, calm and really peaceful... IF you visited one before, you should tell us in the comment session. My sad part was when it was time to clear the bills,  was charged 5% VAT..Just imagine.

Hi guys, how is everyone? I dont want to say been a while because I have been around lol.... I want to share my experience on my trip to my HOMETOWN after a long time,we are looking at 5-6 years. I am from

Niger delta, Nigeria and this visit I stayed at my late grandma's house. It was fun because it is developed unlike what i expected. We had electricity for some hours and tiled road, really cool place I must say.

I left with my parents, brother, neighbour,a worker for my dad and myself and yes we drove all the way and this is because we needed easy movememt over there so we needed a car and we had plenty luggages and goods. The journey was a smooth one all thanks to God and yes we stopped to eat....hurray, I liked the food.

The days I stayed were exciting because we were able to eat our native food, the popular banga soup and starch

and we ate alot of pork meat so yummy.

We went to this water side and it had alot of flying boat, I could only get a picture from afar because I had limited time and I was not able to enter the boats very sad.

I also saw this improvised way of drying fresh pepper for sale, I have never seen it before so it was my first time and i had to take a picture for yall.

In general I enjoyed my trip because I was able to know my hometown like all over, I met my uncles, aunties, cousins and many more people, was so happy I had no negative experience and I am back home. It was really a fun experience....
